It&#039;s always great to hear from a fellow rose lover. Your grandmothers method of placing chopped banana peels sounds great. Banana peels are loaded with potasium that can benifit roses. I will try this method on some of our rose bush&#039;s and publish the results. We would not advise leaving the peels for long periods of time as decaying debri can invite unwanted pests and fungi.
